Welcome.

If you are navigating concussion, post-concussion syndrome, traumatic brain injury, long-COVID, chronic pain, or another condition that has quietly changed your life, you are in the right place. Maybe you are newly injured and trying to make sense of what is happening. Maybe you are years into recovery and still carrying more than anyone around you realizes. Maybe you have been dismissed by providers, let down by systems, or simply exhausted from having to explain yourself over and over again.

Wherever you are in your journey, you do not have to keep figuring this out alone.

Therapy that actually understands brain injury.

Most therapy was not designed with brain injury in mind. The cognitive demands, the unpredictable symptom days, the way your sense of self can quietly shift — these realities require a different kind of care.

At Concussed., therapy goes beyond symptom management. It is about honoring the full emotional and psychological weight of what you are going through, and finding a path forward that feels like yours. Sessions are flexible by design, because healing is not one-size-fits-all — and neither is the way we work together.

On a hard symptom day, that might mean turning off your camera, lying down, or focusing on gentle resourcing instead of deeper processing. This work adapts to meet you where you are.

A few guiding principles

Healing is rarely linear

- and that is okay. Progress is the goal, not perfection.

Your grief is valid

When injury or illness changes who you are, that loss deserves space.

Play, joy, and rest are not luxuries

They are essential parts of the recovery process.

Connection is healing

You should never feel like you are navigating this alone.
